Senior Software Engineer (Full Stack)

About the role

CallTek is seeking a Senior Software Engineer (Full Stack) to join their team in Nairobi, Kenya. As a Senior Software Engineer, you will design, develop, and maintain enterprise SaaS applications. You will collaborate with distributed engineering teams and lead technical initiatives.

What you'll do

• Design and develop complex full-stack web applications.
• Build modern single-page applications using popular frameworks.
• Develop RESTful APIs and backend solutions using Node.js.
• Lead code reviews and implement software engineering best practices.
• Collaborate with QA teams to ensure application performance and security.

Requirements

• 5+ years of expert-level JavaScript/TypeScript experience.
• Strong experience with Node.js, Express, and front-end technologies.
• Knowledge of RESTful APIs and full-stack application architecture.
• Experience with Agile, Git, and CI/CD processes.
• Strong troubleshooting and collaboration skills.
