Egypt Education Platform is seeking a Social Worker for the Secondary Stage at Madinaty Integrated Language School in New Cairo City, Cairo Governorate, Egypt. The role involves supporting secondary students' well-being and academic success. You will be part of a team dedicated to enhancing students' lives.
What you'll do
- Provide individual and group counseling to students in need.
- Assess students' needs and develop tailored intervention strategies.
- Collaborate with staff to promote a positive school environment.
- Communicate with parents to support students at home.
- Connect students with external resources and services.
- Lead workshops on adolescent mental health for faculty.
Requirements
- Degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience working with secondary students.
- Knowledge of adolescent development and mental health.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Experience with diverse populations and inclusive practices.
- Relevant social work certification or licensure is a plus.
