About the opportunity

The UKUDLA programme offers master's scholarships for postgraduate study in Data Science, Agriculture, and Sustainable Food Systems in South Africa. The scholarships are funded by the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD). You will study at either the University of Mpumalanga or the University of the Western Cape.

Who can apply

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant quantitative discipline
• Average of 68% or higher in first degree
• Basic knowledge of statistics and data analysis
• Basic programming skills in Python and/or R
• English language proficiency (TOEFL 79/80 or IELTS Band 6)
• Completed degree within the last six years
