Overview
The Centre for Cellular and Molecular Platforms (C-CAMP), with support from Ashraya Hastha Trust (AHT), has launched the 1st Call for ‘Validation of Field-Ready Climate Solutions’ under the Centre of Excellence (CoE) for Sustainability & Climate Action. This initiative supports registered Indian startups with deployment-ready biological innovations through collaborative on-field pilots, market adoption, and scale.
Funding & Programme Support

- Field Evidence Generation: Structured co-execution alongside C-CAMP technical teams to generate real-world evidence and regulatory clearance documentation.
- Ecosystem Access: Direct introductions to Indian state and central government bodies, industrial partners, and institutional investors for long-term commercial scale.
Core Thematic Focus Areas
- Climate & Environment: Sustainable bio-solutions including bioenergy, bioplastics, circular waste management, industrial greentech, and synthetic biology (enzymes, engineered microbes, alternative proteins).
- Climate & Health: Decoupling societal health from environmental change through vector-borne disease surveillance, air/water quality monitoring, pandemic preparedness, and climate-resilient healthcare delivery.
- Climate & Agriculture: Safeguarding food security via climate-resilient crops, soil health diagnostics, precision agriculture, biofertilizers/biopesticides, and agricultural methane mitigation.
Eligibility Criteria
- Entity Structure: Must be an enterprise incorporated and registered as a startup in India.
