Accounting Team Lead

About the role

Smart Technology Solutions seeks an experienced Accounting Team Lead to oversee daily accounting operations and support the Group CFO in maintaining strong financial control and accurate reporting.

What you'll do

• Manage accounting operations across Group entities.
• Ensure accurate and timely transaction recording.
• Maintain General Ledger and Chart of Accounts.
• Lead financial closing activities monthly, quarterly, and annually.
• Prepare management accounts, financial statements, and variance analysis.
• Supervise Accounts Payable, Credit and Collections teams.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS, VAT, and statutory reporting.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 8-12 years of progressive accounting experience.
• 3-5 years in a supervisory or leadership position.
• Experience with financial reporting, General Ledger, budgeting, and audit coordination.
• Strong understanding of IFRS and Odoo ERP system.
