As a Collections Specialist, SME, you will play a crucial role in recovering overdue payments from defaulting customers. You will be part of a diverse team driving FairMoney's mission to reshape financial services for underserved communities.
What you'll do
- Contact defaulting customers to demand payments on overdue accounts.
- Maintain daily activity logs of calls and payment promises.
- Verify information on overdue arrears and follow up with calls.
- Negotiate payment plans and settlements to prevent accounts from rolling forward.
- Track payments and follow up on pending promises.
Requirements
- University degree in any related field.
- 1+ year of experience in consumer loans operations.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills.
