Immunization and Cold Chain Consultant

About the role

VillageReach is seeking an Immunization and Cold Chain Consultant to support its project to improve immunization outreach in a selected state in Nigeria. The Consultant will work independently to deliver agreed project activities and provide implementation support. The role involves collaborating with state and local government health authorities, facility teams, and community representatives.

What you'll do

• Engage state and local stakeholders to support project activities and site selection.
• Conduct outreach and cold chain assessments, documenting requirements and constraints.
• Support field implementation, planning exercises, and equipment deployment.
• Collect and analyze data, maintaining records and preparing field reports.
• Test and validate planning tools with state, LGA, and facility users.

Requirements

• Relevant experience in immunization, cold chain management, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of immunization programs and cold chain systems.
• Experience working with government authorities, facility teams, and community representatives.
• Analytical and report-writing skills, with ability to document implementation experience.
• Ability to work independently and manage own schedule.
