Lead People Partner

About the role

M-KOPA is a fintech company seeking a Lead People Partner to own the people agenda for its Kenya operations. You'll be part of the People team, working closely with Kenya's leadership team to shape the organization's growth and development. Your role will directly impact how the leadership team builds, retains, and develops the team powering M-KOPA's largest market.

What you'll do

• Advise Kenya's leadership team on organization design and workforce planning
• Develop and implement talent review, performance calibration, and succession planning frameworks
• Lead employee relations resolution and ensure compliance with Kenyan labor law
• Drive organizational change initiatives and restructuring
• Build and implement business-aligned people strategy

Requirements

• 8+ years of HR/People Partner experience
• 3-6 years advising director-level or above executives
• Working knowledge of Kenyan labor law
• Experience in org design, workforce planning, or succession strategy
• Evidence of building frameworks
