Manager / Senior Manager

About the role

IDinsight is a global nonprofit that uses data, evidence, and technology to improve lives at scale. They are seeking a Manager or Senior Manager to join their team in Dakar, Senegal; Abuja, Nigeria; or Rabat, Morocco. As a Manager or Senior Manager, you will work with clients, lead projects, and mentor junior staff.

What you'll do

• Establish yourself as a trusted advisor to clients and provide high-quality counsel.
• Lead advisory and evaluation projects, including project management and technical skills.
• Manage timelines, quality control, and risk mitigation for effective project execution.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members.
• Lead project budget design and management, and funder compliances.

Requirements

• Advanced degree in public policy, economics, or public administration.
• 4-8 years of relevant work experience, including managerial experience.
• Outstanding interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills.
• Proven ability to lead and motivate staff in a dynamic environment.
• Strong critical thinking skills and understanding of data and evidence tools.
