About the role

Control Risks is a global company that provides risk management services. They are looking for a Researcher to join their Scaled Diligence Programmes team in Lagos, Nigeria. As a Researcher, you will conduct due diligence research to identify potential risks for clients.

What you'll do

• Conduct due diligence research for various projects
• Research using media, databases, and human sources
• Analyse search results and identify potential risks
• Summarise findings in reports and present to colleagues
• Collaborate with team members on joint projects
• Liaise with in-country source networks for information

Requirements

• Knowledge of money laundering and identity fraud indicators
• Familiarity with commercial, legal, and integrity risk landscapes
• Fluency in English with clear writing skills
• Ability to communicate complex topics effectively
• Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Degree-level education
