About the role

M-KOPA is a company that aims to drive digital and financial inclusion across its markets. The Retail Manager role is a key position in its retail group, responsible for leading and supporting the delivery of its retail strategy in Uganda. You will oversee day-to-day operations across multiple retail outlets.

What you'll do

• Manage retail operations for a seamless customer experience.
• Oversee stock operations across multiple locations and channels.
• Lead retail network strategy and governance.
• Ensure inventory control and accountability.
• Drive stock optimisation and reduce losses.
• Manage retail systems and tools.
• Oversee device swaps, repairs, and servicing coordination.
• Manage third-party performance and service quality.
• Handle escalations and complex retail issues.
• Lead process improvement and compliance.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field.
• Demonstrable track record in operational management.
• At least 3 years of leadership or people-management experience.
• Experience in retail management and inventory management.
• Proficiency in data visualization systems.
• Strong analytical and decision-making skills.
