About the role
M-KOPA is a pan-African fintech that provides asset financing and credit to underserved customers. You will oversee daily retail operations in Benin City as a Retail Operations Officer, ensuring shops, depots, and stock points are accurate, compliant, and ready to serve customers. You will report to the Regional Retail Team Lead.
What you'll do
- Oversee daily retail operations for smooth service.
- Manage stock reconciliations and replenish stock.
- Coordinate aged stock returns and phone repairs.
- Lead and train Retail Coordinators and Stock Controllers.
- Monitor retail KPIs and drive corrective action.
- Collaborate with Sales, Supply Chain, and Customer Service.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of retail operations or logistics experience.
- 2 years of supervisory or team leadership experience.
- Proven inventory management and retail operations experience.
- Confidence with retail management systems and Microsoft Office.
