Warehouse Manager

About the role

M-KOPA, a fast-growing fintech in Africa, is seeking a Warehouse Manager to oversee daily warehouse and logistics operations in Kenya. You will ensure inventory control, customs compliance, and team management. Your decisions will protect the organisation from compliance risks and operational inefficiencies.

What you'll do

• Manage warehouse space and racking controls.
• Oversee marketing merchandise control and inventory ageing.
• Implement disposal policy and track obsolete items.
• Ensure imports and logistics compliance with regulations.
• Enforce inventory management practices and investigate discrepancies.
• Manage third-party relationships and contracts.
• Train and develop warehouse and logistics staff.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management or related field.
• Experience in warehouse management and logistics.
• Knowledge of customs regulations and compliance.
• Leadership and team management skills.
• Inventory management and control experience.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills.
