About the role

SPARK Schools is a social impact organisation leading change in education through its network of affordable private schools. The School Operations Coordinator will ensure smooth school operations at SPARK Blue Downs in Blue Downs, Gauteng, South Africa. This role supports student achievement and school excellence.

What you'll do

• Oversee scholar safety and supervision during arrivals and dismissals.
• Coordinate scholar transitions and space management across school spaces.
• Manage school assets, facilities, and hardware in Learning Labs.
• Serve as primary point of contact for parents on operational matters.
• Manage the aftercare program, ensuring scholar safety and engagement.
• Handle procurement and resource management for school supplies.
• Directly manage the operations team and provide professional development.

Requirements

• Fluency in English.
• Police clearance certificate.
• Completed or final year of a 3 or 4-year degree.
• Experience in operations, administration, or facilities management.
• Experience with primary school-aged children.
• First aid training is advantageous.
