About the role
Appolonia City is a development project in Ghana that requires a skilled Quantity Surveyor to oversee cost management across various projects. As a Quantity Surveyor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that projects are completed within budget while maintaining quality and sustainability. You will work closely with project teams, clients, and contractors to provide strategic cost advice and optimize value for money.
What you'll do
- Manage costs for urban infrastructure, security, and building projects
- Conduct feasibility studies to estimate project costs
- Prepare and analyze tenders and contracts
- Advise on contractual issues and value completed work
- Review construction plans and prepare quantity requirements
- Liaise with site managers, clients, and contractors during project phases
Requirements
- Graduate degree in Quantity Surveying or Building Economics
- Registered with Ghana Institution of Surveyors or equivalent
- Over 6 years of site-based supervision experience
- Expertise in facilities management of large-scale developments
- Understanding of FIDIC conditions of Contract and Standard Specifications
