Senior Accountant (EMEA)

About the role

Oyster is a global employment platform that connects companies with talented individuals worldwide. They are seeking a Senior Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting, monthly reporting, and ERP activities for their entities globally, with a focus on EMEA coverage. As a Senior Accountant at Oyster, you will work remotely and be responsible for ensuring accurate and scalable financial processes.

What you'll do

• Manage full-cycle accounting for global subsidiaries.
• Prepare financial statements and balance-sheet reconciliations.
• Lead month-end and year-end close activities.
• Coordinate local statutory filings and audits.
• Conduct financial analysis and present insights.
• Improve accounting standards, controls, and automation.

Requirements

• 5+ years of accounting experience, including 1 year as Senior Accountant.
• CPA or equivalent professional accounting qualification.
• Strong knowledge of multi-entity accounting and financial reporting.
• Advanced Excel skills and attention to detail.
• Strong written and spoken English.
