Sewage Treatment Plant Operator

About the role

Alaro City, a joint venture between Rendeavour and the Lagos State Government, is seeking a skilled Sewage Treatment Plant Operator. Alaro City is a rapidly growing real estate and urban development project in Lagos, Nigeria. As a Sewage Treatment Plant Operator, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and safe operation of sewage treatment infrastructures.

What you'll do

• Conduct maintenance and repairs on machinery and equipment.
• Operate and monitor control systems and related equipment.
• Perform routine maintenance of sewerage infrastructure.
• Record and maintain data, and provide reports.
• Repair malfunctions and install new piping systems.

Requirements

• Higher National Diploma or degree in mechanical engineering, civil engineering, or environmental science.
• 3-5 years of experience in industrial-scale sewage treatment.
• Experience with machinery operation and preventive maintenance.
• Ability to read blueprints and design drawings.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and drawing interpretation.
