State Coordinator, Kaduna/Kano (Consultant)

About the role

Evidence Action is a global nonprofit organization seeking a State Coordinator for its Nutrition program in Kaduna/Kano. The role involves providing technical assistance to the state government for the rollout of the SQ-LNS program. You will work closely with state officials to strengthen program planning, implementation, and monitoring.

What you'll do

• Coordinate with state government departments and partners on program planning and implementation.
• Support state officials in developing operational plans and work with them to monitor implementation.
• Organize training for healthcare workers and support supply chain activities.
• Facilitate community sensitization and engagement workshops.
• Monitor and evaluate program progress, identifying bottlenecks and sharing findings.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Nutrition, or related field.
• Master's degree in Public Health or related discipline is an added advantage.
• At least five years of experience in nutrition, public health, or child health programming.
• Experience working with government health systems in Nigeria, preferably in Kaduna or Kano State.
• Strong relationship-building and coordination skills with government officials and stakeholders.
