About the role

GiveDirectly is a global organization that provides cash directly to people in poverty and crisis. They are expanding their operations in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) and are looking for a Sauvegarde Manager to oversee their protection programs in Lukula, Kongo Central.

What you'll do

• Design and advise on programs to ensure they meet protection standards and policies.
• Provide guidance to the team on respectful and dignified program implementation.
• Identify and mitigate protection risks in the country and advise the national team.
• Analyze project risks and provide guidance on secure implementation.
• Establish relationships with community leaders to identify and resolve protection issues.
• Review new field surveys to ensure safe communication and inclusion.
• Manage protection cases and respond to concerns.
• Develop and implement protection protocols and reporting systems.

Requirements

• Experience in protection programming and case management.
