Data Analyst / Data Engineer

About the role

Pavago is seeking a Data Analyst / Data Engineer to transform business data into reliable reporting, actionable insights, and scalable data systems. This full-time, remote role combines technical and analytical skills with clear communication to non-technical stakeholders. You will work with SQL, dashboards, reporting tools, databases, and data pipelines.

What you'll do

• Collect and analyze business data to identify trends and insights.
• Write and optimize SQL queries to extract and combine data.
• Develop and maintain dashboards using BI tools like Power BI.
• Build recurring reports and automate reporting processes.
• Troubleshoot data inconsistencies and improve data quality.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand reporting requirements.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in data analytics or a related role.
• Strong hands-on SQL skills and experience with Excel or Google Sheets.
• Experience with at least one BI platform like Power BI or Tableau.
• Familiarity with databases and strong analytical skills.
• Ability to communicate technical findings clearly.
