About the role
M-KOPA is a company that has provided over UGX 1 trillion in credit to more than one million customers in Uganda. The company is looking for a Talent Acquisition Manager to lead hiring across various roles in Uganda and other countries. You will partner with leadership teams to build a strong talent pipeline.
What you'll do
- Lead hiring across multiple roles in Uganda, Kenya, Ghana, South Africa, Nigeria, and Europe.
- Build and maintain talent pools, referrals, and professional community relationships.
- Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies and metrics.
- Use AI tools like Claude, Notion, and Ashby to improve recruitment quality.
- Collaborate with leadership teams to create hiring briefs.
Requirements
- Proven end-to-end recruitment experience in Uganda.
- Experience in high-volume and specialist hiring.
- Strong knowledge of the Ugandan labour market.
- Ability to source candidates through adverts, referrals, and networks.
- Experience in other African countries is a plus.
