About the role
One Acre Fund is a non-profit organisation that supports smallholder farmers in Africa. The Uganda Field Operations Lead will oversee field operations, manage regional teams, and drive program expansion in Uganda. You will report to the Head of Field Programs.
What you'll do
- Lead field implementation of Uganda's vision and strategy.
- Manage and coach Regional Leads on performance and development.
- Own season execution plans, ensuring timely training delivery.
- Track execution progress using KPIs and data.
- Coordinate field rollout and expansion plans.
Requirements
- 5-7 years of field operations or programme delivery experience.
- At least 2 years of management experience.
- Experience in agriculture, rural development, or last-mile distribution.
- Demonstrated people management and team leadership skills.
- Experience with expansion, scale-up, or new-site launches.
