Chief Information Officer (CIO)

About the role

Catilas Resources Limited is recruiting for a Chief Information Officer (CIO) on behalf of a leading Investment Banking Group in Lagos, Nigeria. As CIO, you will define and execute the Group's technology, digital, data, analytics, and AI strategy to drive business growth and efficiency. This senior management role reports to the Divisional Head, Technology, Operations & Admin.

What you'll do

• Develop a technology roadmap to support business strategy and goals.
• Lead cloud strategy, modernisation, and rationalisation of technology estate.
• Improve digital adoption, client onboarding, and transaction success rates.
• Develop enterprise data governance, data quality, and analytics capability.
• Oversee IT governance, security programme, and risk management.
• Lead technology change using Agile and DevSecOps approaches.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 15+ years of progressive technology experience, including 8+ years in banking.
• 5+ years of management experience in a regulated financial institution.
• Proven delivery of large-scale programmes, e.g., core-system modernisation.
• Ownership of a ₦500 million+ technology budget and complex vendor ecosystems.
• Current professional certification, e.g., ITIL 4, COBIT 2019.
• Current cloud or AI/data science management certification.
• Knowledge of CBN and SEC technology requirements.
