Finance Officer

About the role

ThinkWell Uganda is seeking a Finance Officer for its Kampala office. The role supports day-to-day financial management and accounting operations. The Finance Officer reports to the Director, Finance & Administration.

What you'll do

• Maintain accurate accounting records in designated systems.
• Process and record financial transactions with proper authorization.
• Prepare payment packages and support timely payments.
• Perform bank and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Support budget monitoring and expenditure analysis.
• Prepare routine financial reports for management and programme teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration.
• Professional qualification in accounting (CPA or ACCA) an advantage.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and accounting principles.
• Experience in financial management and accounting operations.
