Procurement and Field Logistics Manager

About the role

ThinkWell is a organisation that needs a Procurement and Field Logistics Manager to lead procurement and field logistics for their Uganda activity. The role ensures efficient, competitive, and transparent procurement and logistics. The Manager will work closely with the Finance & Administration Director and program teams.

What you'll do

• Develop and maintain annual procurement plans.
• Lead procurement processes from requisition to close-out.
• Coordinate field logistics, travel, and events.
• Manage asset, inventory, and equipment records.
• Monitor procurement budget and commitments.
• Ensure compliance with ThinkWell policies and Ugandan laws.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in procurement, logistics, or business administration.
• At least 7 years of experience in procurement or logistics.
• Experience with competitive procurement processes and vendor management.
• Knowledge of donor-funded procurement requirements.
• Strong planning, negotiation, and analytical skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
